There always ups and downs. Live a adventurous life - the meaning is different for everyone... some with just a change of roles, its a big change; to some, it needs a different environment; others, it may means 16 hours a day full of activities; and for me, it just mean there are always things i would like to do :)
When I was young, I said I didn't mine a life full of ups and downs. Then, I started not to be able to stand the ride. Now, I try to have a peaceful life, but still, maybe I am a very emotional person, I still have so much ups and downs.
